So many pieces to the employee life cycle are complex and hard to execute: Recruitment, Payroll, Benefits, Engagement, Case Resolution, and the list goes on and on.
TECHNOLOGIES USED
The madness at hand:
The biggest challenge was understanding what HR pieces were already in play for the business. Running a high-end E-Commerce store with a shade of over 500 employees is no easy task for any HR personnel and the different departments that managed all of them.
The Fix:
Luckily for them, we designed software like this before using PHP and Laravel still. With a firm understanding of how HR workflows operated, we were able to make the right recommendations and provide the right access points to every department head that would be using the software.
We started by designing the whole software from scratch and based the aesthetics of the program on similar technologies that we’ve designed already in the past.
Think of it as a template if you will.
We applied it easily and then moved to design the back-end portion.
For the back-end portion, this required a bit more detail as the departments involved all had their pieces to the software that they would want to be added.
Bit by bit, we designed each request into the software until finally, upon release, we were able to address every department’s concern.
